Inviting you to apply for a Parent Governor Vacancy
We invite applications for an exciting Parent vacancy on the school Governing Body. This provides an exciting opportunity for Parents to become fully engaged and involved in the Governance of the school. As a Governor you are at the heart of developing and supporting the school direction, our aim is to always provide and improve on the quality and educational provision for all children. It is imperative that your aim to become a governor is to support the school.
Membership of the Governing Body provides the opportunity for involvement in these essential areas of the school:
- Curriculum Development and Innovation
- Staffing and Finance
- Health and Safety
- Supporting the strategic direction of the school.
If you feel that this valuable opportunity is something that you would like to pursue, please complete a nomination form which includes a short written statement about yourself and why you feel the governing body would benefit from your skills. Governors should meet the relevant statutory eligibility criteria and agree to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks as required.
